The lines covered in this DVD have all been lost with most, if not all, of their tracks and structures removed, to ensure there can be no rail revival.
Lines covered are:
The Koondrook Tramway which actually was a privately built broad gauge railway line that was taken over by the VR in 1952. Footage includes Walker Rail Cars, diesel hauled goods trains and more.
Other lines featured are:
Peechelba East, Bright and Beechworth lines in the North East,
Murchison East to Girgarre and Colbinnabin.
Heathcote Junction to Bendigo and
Shelbourne.
Castlemaine to Maryborough.
Includes footage of reminders of railway occupation as the line is to be removed completely.
